National Partnership for Educational Access Conference

In April, the Bay Area K-16 Collaborative was honored to present at the 2025 National Partnership for Educational Access Conference in Philadelphia!

Our session, “Building Coalitions for Educational Equity and Justice: Engaging SF Bay Area K-16 Leaders in Collective Impact for Sustainable Change,” brought together regional leaders to share how we’re working across K-12, community colleges, and four-year universities to create more equitable education and career pathways for students in the Bay Area.
Thank you to our incredible panelists for bringing their wisdom, experience, and heart to this work:
- Agustin Cervantes, Ed.D. – Chabot-Las Positas Community College District
- Yvette Flores – UC Berkeley Center for Educational Partnerships
- Cynthia Grutzik – San Francisco State University
- Heather Lattimer – Cal State LA (formerly of San Jose State University)
-Robert Williams – Cal State East Bay

Kudos to the Collaborative members who were able to join the session and be a part of the conversation. They are invaluable to the deep work of systems alignment and collective impact on the ground:
-Janene Perez- San Jose State University
-Leticia Martinez- Cal State East Bay
-Taylor Redmond & Kristina Palmer- Social Policy Research Associates, the backbone team that keeps the Collaborative focused and moving forward.
